So the Bau Outdoors site is finally finished, live and looking great. The range of outdoor/garden products we have on the new site will be growing fast over the coming days and weeks, so make this a regular stop during browsing... we have some brilliant products coming through.

Two companies made both building the Bau Outdoors site - and the finished product - much better than we could have hoped for. First were Northbound, our Midlands-based design company. We’ve worked with the guys at Northbound for a number of years on previous projects and made some great friends in the process. Company Director, Ama was responsible for turning my garbled brief into what you see here, so as always big thanks (and continued amazement) for your help Am.

The second company involved were unknown to us before this project, but came with recommendations from everyone who knew them. They can add us to that list now... Xibis have been by far the best web-builder we have worked with to date, and have turned Ama’s designs (and my noddy diagrams) into the superb Bau Outdoors site we now take live.
We thought we would write a bit of an expanded Bau Outdoors story from a getting-it-off-the-ground perspective. This will be a run-down of the steps we went through and how people helped out along the way. The point of this is just to give a couple of pointers to anyone tackling a similar project (or anyone just curious!). As a marketing consultant for the past decade, I always found stumbling across this type of article a great help, so I thought I’d return the favor. I’ll link into it from here when it’s done, so check back if you are interested.
Once again, huge thanks to all involved and may all the news articles that follow be good news!
Tom
